Designers Notes { Ministry by Strengths is about adding excitement and energizing the church. What exemplifies energy and excitement more than a group of happy teens jumping for joy. Nothing, that is why we used these lovely teens. The image was from a stock photo site. We added some texture, and age to the image. Adjusted the the color. The result is something interesting to look at sprinkled with some joy.}

Carter requested a nautical theme, well he said use waves, boat, and keep it worn out. Designers Notes { Carter Hulsey’s new full length album. This 12 page booklet design is inspired by his messy journal he used to write this album. Nearly all the images are from his own camera and a few from Colby Moore Photography sprinkled in there. All images and pages have been Photoshoped to add to the already distressed and aged appearance.  }

Designers Notes { Carter Hulsey and Christofer Drew (of NeverShoutNever) share their poetry in this simple 12 page book. Look for this to be out this mid spring. Once you get one of these bad boys in your hands you will notice each page gets a little bit darker.  The opposite effect as  Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Great Movie). Designers Notes { Meg from AF needed an online home for her amazing Non Profit effort. AF’s target demographic is 14 through 20. We created a website with bold images with a faded treatment at the top of all the pages.  We integrated social networking into the site to better connect the visitor with AF.  }

Designers Notes { AC contacted us with a simple request: redevelop our website. We were honored and up for the challenge. The website focus is placed on the videos and images. We did this by creating a simple layout with slightly textured white background with a wrinkled paper pop out background where images and videos are placed. The clients use WP as their CMS. }

Designers Notes { 4U Testing Target demographic was college students. They wanted something organic, coffee house edge, and easy to update. We created a simple logo for them as you see at the bottom left of the content area. Setster was a great free solution to help decrease the time our clients spent replying to scheduling request. This site is controlled by CushyCMS.  }

Designers Notes { Mark, the master behind the lens, came to us with a fun concept he had. If you look closely into a lens you will notice the shutter looks like a bunch of backward nines. His company was called Nine Art Photography. Invert the shutter and baamm, you have a nine. Visit his site to see the final concept in use. We happen to like the script so we are showcasing the logo as we loved. He is using our 2nd favorite.}

Designers Notes { Ozark Christian College offered weekly tours to help bring in new students. If new students sign up for a tour of the campus they automatically got a scholarship. Sweet! The marketing for this campaign was focused on the money you received. We thought the logo should be inspired by the art found with in our currency. }

Designers Notes { Do you ever wonder what would happen if Hokusai’s series Thirty-six Views of Fuji, specifically The Great Wave, was inspired by some split tea. Well we were. The design was originally designed to wrap around the side of the shirt. Due to a tight print budget we had to shrink the print to the center of the chest, full front only. }
